King Winter (January 2021)

Thanks to donors within our alumni parent community, national award-winning snow sculptor Tony Perham is bringing a little magic to campus in lieu of our usual winter festivities. King Winter is a character who appears every year to announce his snowy reign, usually in person. This year, due to safety concerns, Jim Godfrey (aka King Winter) is unable to join us, so snow sculptor Tony Perham is helping us to continue this school tradition. In 2020, Tony was part of a team of three sculptors from Vermont who won the US National Snow Sculpting Championship. We are honored to have his artistry on display on campus. Moreover, we gratefully acknowledge the donors, who are creatively paying forward part of what makes Waldorf Education so special.
