Parent Handwork Group
Wednesday, February 8, 8:15 - 11 am in the farmhouse
If you want to learn or improve your basic skills, drop in! If you are an experienced knitter, come and help mentor new knitters. It's a great way to get to know other parents in our school community, and a nice, relaxed, social time. We have some needles to loan, bring your own yarn. We plan to do doll-making in February. If you would like to learn how to make a Waldorf doll, join us. You can bring your own materials and keep your doll, or use our materials and donate your doll to sell at Winter Fair.

Learn about the Four Temperaments!
Friday, February 10, 6 pm at UVWS in the main building
This is a wonderful opportunity for the UVWS parents. The Four Temperaments will be the subject of discussion and group work on Friday evening, February 10th at 6 pm. This evening is open to the community and we hope you will join us for an enjoyable evening. The evening will be lead by Elizabeth Auer, M.Ed. (Having taught wood, stone, metal, and glasswork for ten years, Elizabeth recently completed her eight year journey with her class at the Pine Hill Waldorf School, where she also taught Extra Lesson classes. A graduate of both the Remedial Resource and Waldorf teacher education programs, as well as holding a diploma in Art and Design, Elizabeth currently runs an afterschool arts program and works freelance, mentoring teachers, holding workshops in a variety of arts, as well as teaching drawing and handwork classes at Antioch New England University. She specializes in both scratchboard art and watercolor painting for young children.)
Parent Jam Band Music Gathering
All Levels Welcome
Thursday, February 16, 6:30-8 pm
Need something to help get you through the darkest time of the year? Every 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Simon Weatherill and Dave Meredith are inviting anyone who is interested to join us for a jam session. All levels and instruments are welcome. If you just want to come and sing that's great also. Children under 16 must have an adult with them. (Any children will have to stay with their adults, no roaming the school.)
No fees or commitment, just come whenever you want.
